The CardioLog SaaS configuration wizard has four simple steps to allow you to quickly setup site usage data collection and integrate that data into an MS Power BI Content Pack.
In order to start tracking all you need to do is install Once you have installed the CardioLog Analytics SaaS add-in for SharePoint from the Office store and select the sites you want to monitor. If you don't have a Power BI account yetStore, you will also need to register for one in the Power BI site.Running the wizard should present you with a window that contains four collapsible stepsthen be directed to a configuration screen.
The configuration contains four simple steps that walk you through setting up data collection and connecting to Power BI.

Step 1: Choose Sites To Track
In this step you can select which site collections you would like to see data for. Sites are only tracked when they are selected.
- With this section expanded, you should see all of your available SharePoint Online sitessite collections.
- Select all the sites you would like to begin monitoring using CardioLog.
- If you don't immediately see the name of a site you would like to monitor, search for it You can also search for site collections by typing in its their name in the search bar.
- Select the button next to each site you would like to monitor.
- Click Save to confirm your selection.
You can go back and add more sites or remove sites from selection at any point.

Step 2: Choose User
AttributesProperties To Report On
In this section you can select all user
attributesprofile properties that you would like to filter and report on
, based on your connected user database such as Active Directory. Attributes may be added or removed at any time to accommodate your needs.. This information will be taken from the users SharePoint profiles. If you have created custom profile properties you can also use them.
Using the search bar, enter the name of any
attributeproperty you would like to find and include.
Select the button next to each user
attributeproperty you would like to include in your usage reports.

Properties may be added or removed at any time to accommodate your needs.

Step 3: Add The CardioLog Tracking Code To Your Sites
This step allows you to add the JavaScript tracking code to each of your sites.
- Navigate to the Microsoft Office Store and install Install the free Web Analytics Integration plugin for your SharePoint site. This step will need to be repeated for each SharePoint site provided by Mictosoft on the site collections you would like to track monitor using CardioLog Analytics.
- You will be asked to confirm that you are logged in to an administrative account for the desired SharePoint site.
The Web Analytics Integration plugin will be installed on your SharePoint site and you will be presented with a confirmation window.
If this is the first time using this app on all sites, you may be asked to confirm that you trust it. Click Trust it to continue.
You should be brought to the App configuration window. If not, you can navigate to it
fromfrom Your Apps on your SharePoint site.

Go back to CardioLog's configuration screen and copy the JavaScript tracking code
that appears within thisfrom step
of this Configuration Wizard3 of configuration screen.
Paste the tracking code to the Head script text box of the Web Analytics Integration plug-in and click Save.

Step 4: Connect to a Power BI Content Pack
In this step you can connect your CardioLog usage reports directly to to a Power BI Content Pack . A Power BI Pro user account is required.Enter the Power BI Pro Username and Password of to gain access to the your CardioLog Analytics data.
Learn more about content packs
Enter the Username and Password of a Power BI Pro user and click Save. This user will be the owner of the CardioLog Analytics SaaS content pack.
The content pack owner will be able to share it with all other relevant users in your organization.
Go to the Power BI interface and login with the credentials you entered in step 1. Share the content pack with your colleagues.
