CardioLog Analytics ' integration integrates with Yammer allows you in order to generate usage statistics about your Yammer network activity, such as: users and groups . Data is available based on user and group activity, content contributions, number of likes, praised users, followers and more. All reports are available via the CardioLog Analytics user interface.

This guide includes instructions describes how to create and authorize a Yammer app that would connect connects to your Yammer network.

• Access to https://www.yammer.com from the CardioLog server
• Permission to create a new Yammer app at - https://www.yammer.com/client_applications
• Accees to https://www.yammer.com from the CardioLog server

Step 1: Register new

Step 1 - Register a New Yammer App

1. Go to the Created Apps page: https://www.yammer.com/client_applications
   
2. Click Register New App For more information see "Yammer App Registration"

3. Fill out the following fields within the submission form:
   1. Application Name
   : CardioLogAnalytics
   Organization:
   1.  - A unique name in Yammer, i.e. CardioLogAnalytics-companyname  
   2. Organization - The name of your organization
   .
   2. Support e-mail
   :
   1.  - An email address which users of your app can contact for support
   .
   2. Website
   :
   1.  - Your organization's website
   Example:
   
   1. Redirect URI - A URL to redirect the user's browser to, after the user has linked the application to their Yammer account, i.e. https://www.yammer.com/client_applications

4. Save changes to finish registering the app.

Step 2

- Generate Keys and Tokens

1. Click on on the CardioLogAnalytics app to display its Basic Info.
2. Fill out the "Redirect URI" with: "https://www.yammer.com"
   Copy your Client ID and Client secret Click on "Generate a developer token for this application".

3. Save the Client ID, Client secret and token details from the Application Information page.Paste this URL into your browser, where [client_id] is the value obtained from step 2 above:
   https://www.yammer.com/dialog/oauth?client_id=[client_id]&redir...
   

   Copy the "code=" value from the URL created.
   Paste this URL into your browser, where [client_id], [client secret] are obtained in step 3 above. Code is the code from step 5.

   Download and edit resulting JSON file. Copy the "token:" value.
   

Step 3: Configure CardioLog Analytics

Browse to CardioLog Analytics > Administration > System Configuration > Social Adaptor

Click Add > Select Yammer

In the configuration screen, change status to Active and fill out the following fields within the submission form:
Network: Your organization domain name. For example,

Step 3 - Configure the Yammer Adaptor

1. In the navigation pane under Administration, click System Configuration. Select Social Adapter from the main window.

2. In the top right corner, click Add and select Yammer.

3. Fill in the following details in the configuration settings dialog:
   1. Status - Active
   2. Network - Your organization domain name. e.g.Intlock.com
   3. Client ID
   :
   1. - The
   Client ID you have copied in item #3 of Step 2
   1. client ID of the Yammer App keys and tokens.
   2. Client Secret
   : The Client Secret you have copied in item #3 of Step 2
   1. - The client Secret of the Yammer App keys and tokens.
   2. Access Token
   :
   1. - The token you have
   copied in item #7 of Step 2
   1. generated in the Yammer App keys and tokens.
   2. Authentication
   :
   1. - User name and password
   that will be used to connect to
   1. connected to your Yammer network.
   Example:

   1. Connect to Yammer via a Proxy - Enable the connection to the Yammer API via a proxy.
      -      Proxy Server Address - Proxy server FQDN or IP address.
      -      Port - Proxy port number (Optional).
      -      Authentication - User credentials (Optional).

4. Yammer data will be retrieved as part of the Social Yammer Updates service job, which is located in CardioLog > Administration > CardioLog Scheduling Service. In order in CardioLog Scheduling Service. Please note that the execution time depends on the Yammer API rate limits.

5. If you would like to execute the job immediately, schedule it to run Once and click OK.
