Use the OneDrive Usage Overview report to understand how your OneDrive for Business platform is being used. This report contains several visuals, ready to be quickly filtered by date. Additionally, each of the graph visuals can easily be drilled down simply by clicking on the relevant point or bar. All visuals in the report will respond to any drill down or filter.

Total Files

This chart displays the total number of files stored in OneDrive for Business vs. the total number of documents stored in SharePoint.

Storage Used

This chart displays the overall storage used (MB) in OneDrive for Business in the selected date range. You can hover your cursor over any point in the chart to highlight the storage used at that point.

Active Files

This bar chart includes a breakdown of the active files ranked by the total number of views, modifications and shares. You can click on the relevant bar to filter all other visuals in the report by a specific file.

Inactive Files

The number of files that have not been viewed, edited, synced or shared in OneDrive in the selected date range.

Active Users

The number of users who viewed, created, edited, synced or shared at least one file in OneDrive in the selected date range.

Inactive Users

The number of users who did not view, create, edit, sync or share any files in OneDrive in the selected date range.

Active Users by Department

This bar chart includes a breakdown of the number of active users according to their department. Drill down this chart to quickly see the users in each department. You can click on the relevant bar to filter all other visuals in the report by department or user.
