It contains a series of visuals to help you understand if users are communicating through channel messages and private chat messages, participating in meetings and calls, sharing content and using apps in Teams.
Teams | Usage Overview
Active vs. Inactive Users
The total number of teams created within the selected date range.
Active Users
Number of unique users who performed an action in a Team during the selected date range (engaged in a chat in a channel, communicated via private chat message, participated in calls or meetings).
Inactive Users
Number of unique users who did not perform any action in a Team during the selected date range.
Team Messages vs. Private Chat Messages
The average number of channels created per team within the selected date range.
Access Type
The number of teams that were created in the last 30 days.
Meetings
This visual identifies the total number of meetings scheduled within the selected date range. The line graph in the background indicates trends in the volume of meetings over time.
Calls
This visual identifies the total number of calls that users participated in within the selected date range. The line graph in the background indicates trends in the number of calls that users participated in over time.
Apps Used
This pie chart details the amount of teams that are private and the amount of teams that are public.
Content Shared
This line chart details the amount of teams that were created, over the currently selected date range.
