This report shows the top user category values, ranked by page views, for a specific user category. User categories are sets of user fields imported from external sources such as Active Directory, SharePoint user profiles, Dynamics CRM and more. A typical use might be for organizing employees into departments for your intranet portal. You can select which user fields, or categories, to include in your reports for analysis within each widget's preferences. External sources require configuration.
Note: In order to properly monitor user groups, first configure user categories.

Table Widget
The Active User Categories table widget contains the following columns:
- Name - The name of the user category as defined by the external source
- Views - The number of page views of users by users within the category.
- Unique Users - The number of unique visitors in the category who have accessed your portal within the time frame defined in the widget preferences, as identified by login information, an anonymous cookie, or IP address.
- Visits - The number of visits by users within to the category. Visits are a defined as a series of SharePoint page requests from the same uniquely identified client with a time of no more than 30 minutes between each page request.
