Augmented Analytics drives user adoption and productivity with SaaS-based data analytics maps and insights designed for SharePoint and Microsoft 365.

Using Augmented Analytics you can pinpoint problematic areas on the SharePoint page so that you can take action based on the data.

For more details about how to configure Augmented Analytics for SharePoint, please see the Augmented Analytics Configuration Guide.

The data collected by Augmented Analytics is visualized in the following formats:

The data is dynamically displayed above the current SharePoint page, overlaying the data on all existing UI elements.

Note: If certain UI elements are updated, moved or no longer exist on the page, some historical data may not be visible in the reports. To address this, use the download snapshot feature in order to save a copy of the report at a specific point in time before any page updates occur, ensuring you have access to the desired data.

Scroll Map

The scroll map shows the page exposure level for every item on the page by showing how far down people scroll on the page.
With this information you'll be able to spot pages that are too long or not compelling enough to scroll through and make sure relevant content, links, and calls to action are seen by the vast majority of your visitors, and avoid a lot of content being missed by visitors simply due to the position on the page.

  1. Navigate to your SharePoint portal and hover over the Augmented Analytics icon on the bottom right of the screen and sign in with your Microsoft 365 user account.

  2. Select Scroll to see a Scroll Map which shows how far down a page a user scrolls.

  3. At a glance, see the exact percentage of people who scroll down to any point on the page and how much time they've spent on it. The redder the area, the more visitors saw it.
