This report shows the top user category values, ranked by page views, for a specific user category.
User categories are sets of user fields imported from external sources such as Active Directory, SharePoint user profiles, Dynamics CRM and more. A typical use might be for organizing employees into departments for your intranet portal. You can select which user fields, or categories, to include in your reports for analysis within the widget preferences. You will first need to configure updates from an external source. Table Widget
The Active User Categories table widget contains the following columns:
- Name - The user category name
- Views - The number of page views of users belonging to the category.
- Unique Users - The number of unique visitors belonging to the category, as identified by login information, or an anonymous cookie, or IP address.
- Visits - The number of visits by users who belong to the category. Visits are a series of SharePoint page requests from the same uniquely identified client with a time of no more than 30 minutes between each page request.
