This table lists the total number of visit sessions during the selected time range, ranked by visit duration. The table divides visits into common visit times and does not list all visit lengths by all users individually. Use the Average Visit Duration report to see how similar information changes over time.

This metric can be helpful for determining how engaged users are with your site. Typically, the goal is to have users stay longer on a site, but depending on your concerns you may find a median or average time might be ideal. Using this report alongside various Page Navigation or Goal widgets can help determine if your visitors are finding what they came for, or are leaving your site without accomplishing their goals. Creatively engaging your users can help push them to spend more time in the portal. Use clearly labeled links and well thought out anchor text to direct them to other pages on the site, and expose them to a variety of content within your portal.
